I am learning what kind of working environment is best for me. My non-Jew job is proving to be not-so-good. A big part of this is the people. I get along with the people just fine but I get along with mostly everyone just fine. At the Jew job I get along with people really well. I feel like I can be myself without getting funny looks. This is nice. I would love it if Jew job offered me a full-time position here but I don't have much say in the matter.* In the meantime, I am going to put my time in where it is needed most and where I have the most opportunity for advancement, at the Jew job.
Currently, I am exhausted. Not enough sleep and a little too much stress. Thankfully I'll get another dose of improv tonight to help me break out of this mini-funk.
*It would have been helpful if my boss hadn't just caught me creating this post.
(I would also like to point out that adding categories on the fly is a snap in TypePad.)
